Job Opening: Food Safety and Compliance Director

As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Food Safety and Compliance Director to help drive our commitment to excellence and regulatory integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage food safety systems (HACCP, FSMA, GMP, GFSI/SQF/BRC)

Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, and local food regulations

Lead third-party, customer, and internal audits
-
Promote food safety culture and conduct training
-
Oversee QA team and improve quality procedures
-
Manage food safety incidents, conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions
-
Collaborate with production, R&D, and procurement departments

Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field (Master’s preferred)
-
7+ years of experience in food safety/QA, including 3+ years in a leadership role
-
Strong knowledge of US food safety laws and certification standards
-
HACCP and PCQI certified; SQF/BRC experience preferred

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
-
Experience in medium to large-scale food manufacturing preferred
